“Orange and Red are like summer, colors make apricots irresistible”
Several studies on the psychology of color (Color and Psychological Functioning, Elliot A.J. & others.) support the consideration that this characteristic represents a fundamental source of information for the consumer. People make a decision within 90 seconds of their initial interactions with products, and around 62-90% of the rating is based solely on colors. This applies to all purchases and even more for fruit and vegetables.
This is why, in summer, orange and red become dominant colors in fruit and vegetable choices because they represent the sun, the life, the energy to which, in fresh products, nutritional requirements consistent with the visual image are always associated.
For this reason, apricots are a symbol of summer with their beautiful orange color in different shades that arrives to intense red. If the color sends the message of the most evocative impulse purchase, the consumption experience, the taste, the sweetness, the consistency of the fruit, the juiciness and constancy of these characteristics are also fundamental every time you buy an apricot.

A white-fleshed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection produces cream-colored fruit that is very sweet and juicy with very little acid. The variety develops a nice red blush on sun-exposed fruit which makes for a very attractive presentation. A4617 cv will harvest in the last week of June in Washington State. The fruit is 45-50 mm in size, the Brix averages 18.
ARISTOCOT® A4622 cv.
A mid-season white-fleshed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection, while slightly less sweet than the others, maintains a firm texture and develops refreshing aromas. The variety is juicy and very attractive with a vibrant blush on sun-exposed fruit. In Washington State, this selection will harvest in the first week of July. The fruit size averages 50 mm, the Brix level is approximately 16.
ARISTOCOT® A5204 cv.
A blushed apricot from CEP innovation. This selection displays an attractive red blush on approximately 40% of the fruit surface. The variety has a pleasant, “typical” apricot flavor and is very aromatic. A5204 cv. harvests in the second week of June in Washington State. The fruit size averages 50 mm, with an average Brix of 15.
ARISTOCOT® A4476 cv.
A heavily bi-colored apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection displays a vibrant and glossy red blush over an orange background. The variety is productive and sweet, with a slight amount of acidity. The fruit is firm even when fully ripe. Harvest typically takes place in the second week of July in Washington State. The fruit size averages 50 mm, and the Brix will average 15. A4476 cv. is Plum Pox resistant.
ARISTOCOT® A5065 cv.
A large-sized orange apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection develops a slight blush on sun-exposed fruit. The variety is very juicy with a pleasant, “typical” apricot flavor. A5065 cv. is one of the largest apricots that we carry for the early market, averaging 55 mm. The fruit is normally harvested in the second week of June in Washington State when the Brix reaches 16.
ARISTOCOT® Candide cv.
An orange apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection remains a beautiful shade of orange with little to no blush, even when fully ripe. The variety is productive, sweet, and juicy with a slight amount of acidity. Candide cv. is a self-fertile variety. Growers can expect harvest to occur in the first week of July in Washington State. The fruit size is normally 50-55 mm with a Brix average of 15.
ARISTOCOT® Vertige cv.
An orange apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection becomes a beautiful solid orange with a slight blush when fully ripe. The variety is productive, fine-textured, juicy, and well balanced between sugar and acidity, reaching Brix levels of 18. Vertige cv. is a self-fertile variety that will typically harvest in the second week of July in Washington State. The fruit measures 50-55 mm.
ARISTOCOT® A4633 cv.
A complex flavored white-fleshed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection boasts an average of 19 Brix with high acidity and features an attractive blush on sun-exposed fruit. The variety has a pleasant sweet/tart flavor and is fine textured and juicy. The fruit size averages 50 mm when it matures in the second week of July in Washington State.
ARISTOCOT® A4619 cv.
An attractive white-fleshed apricot from CEP Innovation. This cultivar harvests in the third week of June in Washington State. The variety is exceptionally sweet with little to no acid. Fruit size is 50-55 mm. The Brix average is 20. A4619 cv. is very juicy and presents a brilliant red blush on 40-50% of the sun-exposed fruit surface.
ARISTOCOT® A4620 cv.
A large-sized, white-fleshed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection develops a slight blush over a cream-colored background. The variety is productive, sweet, and juicy with slight acidity. A4620 cv. has ranked highly with those that prefer a bit of balance between sugar and acidity in their eating experience. Harvest takes place in the first week of July in Washington State. Fruit size is 55-60 mm. The Brix average is 18.
ARISTOCOT® A4638 cv.
A white-flesh apricot with an attractive pink-blushed overcolor from CEP Innovation. A4638 cv. is a nice contrast to the dark red surface of the other white selections. The variety is productive, sweet, and juicy with a slight amount of acidity. A4638 cv. is self-sterile and needs a pollinizer such as A4622 cv. or A4617 cv. to set fruit. This selection harvests in the third week of July in Washington State. Fruit size averages 50 mm, the Brix average is 18.
ARISTOCOT® Jengat cv.
A very attractive, red-skinned apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection produces an intense, red fruit that cannot be missed. The variety is productive, sweet, and very juicy. Jengat cv. is self-sterile and requires a pollinizer such as Sefora cv. to set fruit. The fruit is ready to harvest in the first week of July in Washington State. Fruit size is 50-55 mm, the Brix averages 14.
ARISTOCOT® Iziagat cv.
Iziagat cv. is an apricot in a stunning shade of red from CEP innovation. This selection has nearly 100% red coloration, displaying virtually no undercolor. The variety is highly aromatic, productive, and sweet with a slight amount of acidity. This cultivar is a self-fertile variety. It will be ready to harvest during the last week of June in Washington State. Fruit size averages 50 mm, the Brix average is 15.

ARAMIS® A4643 cv.
A brilliantly red-colored apricot from CEP Innovation. This is the earliest red-skinned apricot that we carry, it typically harvests in the first week of June in Washington State. The variety is productive, balanced in flavor, and juicy. A4643 is Plum Pox resistant. The fruit size is 45-50 mm, the Brix is normally 15.
ARAMIS® Gilgat cv.
An early-harvesting, red-skinned apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection produces beautifully red-skinned fruit with a strong, flavorful apricot taste. The variety is productive and juicy but is self-sterile. Gilgat cv. requires a pollinizer such as Iziagat cv. to set fruit. In Washington State, the harvest will generally occur in the second week of June. The fruit size range is 45-50 mm, and Brix is normally 15. Gilgat cv. is Plum Pox resistant.
ARAMIS® A5073 cv.
An early bi-colored apricot from CEP innovation. This selection is very attractive, developing a dark red blush on sun-exposed fruit. The variety is sweet and juicy with very little acid and fine flesh. This apricot is ready to harvest in the second week of June in Washington State. Fruit size averages 50 mm, Brix is normally 14. A5073 cv. is Plum Pox resistant.
ARAMIS® A4667 cv.
A bi-colored apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection develops a dark red blush on sun-exposed fruit making for an attractive finish. The variety is productive, juicy, and aromatic with a strong, “typical” apricot flavor. A4667 cv. is self-fertile and Plum Pox resistant. In Washington State, it will normally harvest in the third week of June. The fruit size is generally 50-55 mm, with an average Brix of 15.
ARAMIS® Sefora cv.
A beautifully blushed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection develops a pronounced red blush on nearly 50% of the fruit surface. The variety is productive, sweet, and juicy with a slight amount of acidity. Fruit size will average 50 mm, the Brix is generally 15. Sefora cv. is self-fertile and Plum Pox resistant. Harvest will normally occur in the third week of June in Washington State.
ARAMIS® Anegat cv.
A brilliantly blushed apricot from CEP Innovation. This selection develops one of the most pronounced colors out of all the bi-colored cots that we carry. The variety has a strong “typical” apricot flavor, it is productive, juicy, and large in size. Anegat cv. is Plum Pox resistant as well as a self-fertile variety. In Washington State, harvest normally occurs in the second week of July. The fruit will average 50-55 mm and the Brix is typically 16.

SOUTH WIND® A-829CN cv.
A white-fleshed nectarine from the University of Arkansas. This selection displays a block red over-color on a white background. The variety is very juicy and sweet with little to no acid and a melting texture. A-829CN cv. is moderately resistant to bacterial spot. The fruit is normally harvested in the second week of July in Washington state, with fruit averaging 70 mm in size and 16 Brix.
SOUTH WIND® Whitewater A-856 cv. USPP 35,017
A white-fleshed peach from the University of Arkansas. This selection develops an attractive dark blush over a white background. The variety is very juicy and sweet with little to no acid. A-856 cv. is a large, semi-freestone peach with a slow melting texture and light pubescence. Harvest typically occurs in the second week of July in Washington State with fruit averaging 70-75 mm and 13 Brix. The cultivar is moderately resistant to bacterial spot.

A white-fleshed peach from the University of Arkansas. This selection develops an attractive dark red over- color on nearly 60-70% of the fruit surface. The variety is sweet, with a slight amount of acidity. It is firm and juicy with a light pubescence and a non-melting texture. A-499 cv. is moderately resistant to bacterial spot. This clingstone variety typically harvests in the third week of July in Washington State.

A white-fleshed nectarine from the University of Arkansas. This selection displays a beautiful dark red over-color on a white background. The variety is sweet with very little acidity. A-861CN is juicy and firm with a non-melting texture. The cultivar will typically harvest in the third week of July in Washington State, producing fruit sized at 65 mm with an 18 Brix.

The fruit averages 70 mm with Brix levels at 13. A-805CN cv. is resistant to bacterial spot.

A yellow-fleshed nectarine from the University of Arkansas. This selection displays a red over-color on a clean, yellow background. The variety is very juicy with a firm, non-melting texture. A white-fleshed peach from the University of Arkansas. This selection is highly attractive due to the dark red color that envelops nearly 90% of the fruit surface. A-762 cv. is a clingstone variety that is sweet with little to no acid and a non-melting texture. It is juicy and firm with a light pubescence. In Washington State, you can expect it to harvest in the last week of July. Fruit size averages 70 mm, the Brix is normally 14. The cultivar displays moderate resistance to bacterial spot.

A white-fleshed peach from the University of Arkansas. This selection is white-skinned with a dark red over-color. The variety is very juicy and sweet with a slight amount of acidity. The semi-freestone peach has a slow melting texture and develops a light pubescence. A-853 is moderately resistant to bacterial spot. The fruit is typically harvested near the middle of August in Washington State, producing 80 mm size fruit that measures 13 Brix.
PLATTY™ First N°6 cv.
A beautifully red-colored white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection is sweet with a hint of acidity. The variety is fine textured, very juicy, and thick fleshed with light pubescence. Platty™ First harvests in the second week of July in Washington State with an average of 14 Brix and 70-75 mm fruit size.
PLATTY™ Belle N°4 cv.
A white-fleshed flat peach with 90% dark red coloration from CEP Innovation. This selection is sweet with little to no acidity. The variety is productive, thick-fleshed, and displays very little pubescence. The fruit averages 14 Brix, 75-80 mm in size, and can be expected to harvest in the last week of July in Washington State.
PLATTY™ Joy N°254 cv.
A nicely colored white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection’s red coloration is not as dark as the other Platty™ series selections, but it is still vibrant and eye-appealing. The variety is sweet with a slight amount of acidity, thick fleshed, and very juicy. Platty Joy harvests in the first week of August, producing medium- sized fruit.
PLATTY™ Star N°194 cv.
A strongly colored white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection is sweet with little to no acidity and light pubescence. Platty™ Star is juicy, fine-textured, and highly attractive. The fruit will normally harvest in the first week of August in Washington State, where it averages 14 Brix and 80 mm in size.
PLATTY™ Blaze N°51 cv.
A large, white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection has an attractive finish to complement its size, which makes for an impressive presentation on the tree and in the box. The variety is sweet with little to no acidity, very juicy, and thick-fleshed with medium pubescence. Platty™ Blaze will normally harvest in the second week of August in Washington State. The fruit averages 80-85 mm and 14 Brix.
PLATTY™ Sun N°52 cv.
A white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection is almost completely covered in a dark red hue. The variety is sweet, averaging 14 Brix, with little to no acidity and light pubescence. The fruit is large at 75-80 mm and will harvest in the second week of August in Washington State.
PLATTY™ Moon N°22 cv.
A highly colored yellow-fleshed flat nectarine from CEP Innovation. This selection produces large, eye appealing nectarines that are dark red and juicy. The variety is fine-fleshed with a sweet (17 Brix), slightly acidic flavor. The fruit is typically harvested in the second week of August in Washington State, reaching 80-85 mm in size.

Our latest harvesting white-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. The variety is thick fleshed, sweet, and very juicy with little to no acidity and very light pubescence. Platty™ Reine produces large (75 mm), attractive fruit and provides a very good eating experience. Harvest typically occurs in the last week of August in Washington State.
NECTAFIRE™ S6606 cv.
Our earliest harvesting flat nectarine selection from CEP Innovation. This yellow-fleshed variety colors quite nicely, presenting a brilliant red over a yellow background. The S6606 cv. is thick fleshed, sweet-flavored, and juicy. Harvest will normally occur in the last week of July in Washington state, resulting in fruit that averages 80 mm in size with an average Brix of 13.

ANGELFIRE™ S6368 cv.
A late harvesting yellow-fleshed flat peach from CEP Innovation. This selection produces attractively colored fruit that is sweet and juicy.
