A4638 cv
A white-flesh apricot with an attractive pink-blushed overcolor from CEP Innovation. A4638 cv. is a nice contrast to the dark red surface of the other white selections. The variety is productive, sweet, and juicy with a slight amount of acidity. A4638 cv. is self-sterile and needs a pollinizer such as A4622 cv. or A4617 cv. to set fruit. This selection harvests in the third week of July in Washington State. Fruit size averages 50 mm, the Brix average is 18.
